IBPS CLERK Exam

IBPS Clerk exam is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection every year. IBPS conducts recruitment examinations through a standard recruitment program (CRP) for all public sector Banks. . It provides its services to all public sector banks (PNB, BOB, etc.), SBI, RBI, NABARD, SIDBI, LIC & Insurance companies and other banks. The IBPS Clerk exam is conducted on two levels preliminary exam and mains. Students qualifying in both these exams are thus selected for the post, no interview is held for selection for the post.<br>

  2. INTRODUCTION IBPS conducts IBPS Clerk exam. In addition, it conducts examinations through standard written tests for all Public Sector Banks except the SBI.  There are two stages in the Clerk exam.  • Preliminary Exam • Mains Exam There is a single IBPS clerk application for all two stages. However, there are separate admit cards for each exam.  Candidates who qualify Preliminary Exam will appear for mains exam. Therefore, candidates who successfully clear the mains exam selected as clerical staff in participating banks. 

  3. IBPS CLERK ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA IBPS Clerk Eligibility Criteria  A candidate must fulfill the required criteria to be part of the process. A candidate has to meet the age and education qualification criteria to apply for IBPS Clerk. Nationality / Citizenship of Applicants: A candidate must be an Indian citizen to applying for IBPS Clerk Examination. Educational Qualifications (As on 26.08.2020): The candidate should hold a graduation degree in any discipline from an approved University. IBPS Clerk Age Limit Minimum: 20 years Maximum: 28 years

  4. IBPS RRB CLERKEXAM SYLLABUS IBPS RRB CLERK EXAM PATTERN IBPS Clerk Syllabus  Let’s take a look at the IBPS Clerk 2021 exam’s section-by-section syllabus. The exam is for all courses, and candidates can check the subject-wise syllabus, depending on whether they are taking the prelims or mains test. Prelims Exam It contains the three segments of the clerk syllabus. The mains sections are English Language, Reasoning & Numerical Ability. Mains Exam It contains the five segments of the clerk syllabus. The mains sections are English Language, Reasoning & Numerical Ability, General and Financial awareness & Computer Aptitude. Preliminary Examination Pattern  In IBPS Clerk Prelims exam has 100 multiple-choice questions.  The candidate needs to qualify in each section of the exam as per the minimum cut-off list.  The total maximum mark for the exam is 100. And the total time duration is 1 hour. English Language: In English, a test of 30 questions and the maximum marks for the same is 30 marks. The total time allotted for this exam is 20 minutes. Reasoning Ability: It contains an examination of 35 questions, and the maximum marks for the same are 35 marks. But, the time duration of this exam is 20 minutes. Quantitative Aptitude: It also includes the same marking as Reasoning.

  5. IBPS CLERK ADMIT CARD IBPS Clerk Admit Card IBPS Clerk Prelims Admit Card The IBPS PO Prelims test is the first step in the hiring process of IBPS PO. Following the successful completion of the application process, candidates will be given prelims admit cards. IBPS Clerk Mains Admit Card  Candidates who successfully clear the Prelims Exam will qualify for the mains exam. The admit card for the mains exam will be provided to prelims qualified candidates.   6. IBPS CLERK RESULT On April 1, 2021, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection released the IBPS Clerk 2020-21 mains examination results. The final (mains) result has been made available on the IBPS website. The mains exam for IBPS Clerk 2020-21 was on February 28, 2021. The 2020-21 mains exam results were eagerly awaited by all candidates who took part in it. IBPS Clerk Result 2020-21 The result for 2020-21 has been announced. You can check the result on the IBPS website. The exam date for IBPS clerk prelims was 5th & 12the December 2020. And the result date was 6th Feb 2021. And for the mains exam, the exam date was February 28, 2021, and the result date was April 1st, 2021.

  7. HOW TO CHECK THE IBPS CLERK RESULT? How to check IBPS Clerk result?  Follow the below mentioned steps to check the result – Step 1. Visit IBPS website www.ibps.in Step 2. Click on the result link (Result link should be available on notification bar of IBPS website if not click on CRP Clerical section)  Step 3. System will ask you to log in by putting registration/roll number and DOB/password  Step 4. Result will be available on the screen   Step 5. You can download and take a printout. 

  8. HOW TO APPLY? The application window is not open yet for 2021-22. As soon as the window gets open for application, candidates need to follow the below-mentioned steps. The application form for IBPS Clerk is available on the IBPS website. The steps to fill application form are explained below. The application can be filled only by online method. Step 1: IBPS Clerk Registration • Visit IBPS official website   • Click the link ‘New Registration’ on the home page of IBPS • Enter name, phone number, email id and security code  • A provisional registration number and password are generated after successful registration. • The provisional registration number and password are also emailed to the email address and password provided during registration. Step 2: Upload Photo and Signature  • Candidates must upload their photos, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration after registering. • It is not acceptable to sign in capital letters. • The left thumb impression should be properly scanned and not smudged  • The handwritten statement should be in English only

The total number of vacancies in IBPS Clerk 2021 is yet to release. Q.3 Can a final year graduation student apply for IBPS Clerk? A.
