IBPS PO

IBPS was founded in 1975 by A.S. Deshpande and stands for Institute of Banking Personnel selection (IBPS). IBPS conducts recruitment examinations through a standard recruitment program (CRP) for all public sector Banks. It provides its services to all public sector banks (PNB, BOB, etc.), SBI, RBI, NABARD, SIDBI, LIC & Insurance companies and other banks. The exam is conducted at various locations throughout India and in online mode only.<br>The IBPS PO selection process consists of 3 Phases (Preliminary, Mains and Interview) and the candidate must qualify.

  2. INTRODUCTION About IBPS & IBPS PO Exam IBPS was founded in 1975 by A. S. Deshpande and stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. It conducts hiring examinations through a standard program for all Public Sector Banks. IBPS also conducts studies for IBPS PO.

  3. IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria A candidate must fill the required criteria to be part of process. A candidate has to meet the age and education qualification criteria to apply for IBPS PO. Educational Qualifications (As on 26.08.2020): Candidate should hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a approved University. Nationality A candidate must be an Indian citizen to applying for IBPS PO Examination.

  4. IBPS PO Exam Syllabus IBPS PO Exam Pattern We will discuss the IBPS PO syllabus for the prelims exam, and then we check the details for the mains exam syllabus. IBPS PO Syllabus for prelims exam consist of 3 sections. • Reasoning • Quantitative Aptitude • English Language IBPS PO Mains Exam Syllabus IBPS PO Syllabus for mains exam comprises five sections. • Data Analysis • General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness • English Language • Reasoning • Computer Aptitude Preliminary Examination Pattern In IBPS PO Prelims exam has 100 multiple-choice questions.  The candidate needs to qualify in each section of the exam as per the minimum cut-off list.  The total maximum mark for the exam is 100. And the total time duration is 1 hour. English Language: In English, a test of 30 questions and the maximum marks for the same is 30 marks. The total time allotted for this exam is 20 minutes. Reasoning Ability: It contains an examination of 35 questions, and the maximum marks for the same are 35 marks. But, the time duration of this exam is 20 minutes. Quantitative Aptitude: It also includes the same marking as Reasoning.

  5. IBPS PO ADMIT CARD IBPS PO Prelims Admit Card The IBPS PO Prelims test is the first step in the hiring process of IBPS PO. After the successful completion of the application process, candidates will be assign prelims admit cards. IBPS Po Mains Admit Card Candidates who successfully clear the Prelims Exam will qualify for the mains exam. And also the admit card for the mains exam will be provided to them.

  6. IBPS PO RESULT IBPS PO Result is announced. Candidates can follow the steps given below to check the result and cut off marks. IBPS conducts the exam for Probationary Officer each year, and recruitment gets done in 3 phases. • Prelims exam • Mains Exam • Interview IBPS declares results for each round of exams, and successful candidates proceed further with the recruitment activity. Candidates who satisfy all the requirement (related to scoring in test and documents) gets the allotment on participating banks in the recruitment process. IBPS PO Prelims exam was conducted on 3rd,10th & 11th of Oct. 2020, and supplementary examination was on January 6, 2021. IBPS PO Prelims result was on January 14, 2021. Therefore, candidates can follow the steps to check the IBPS PO Prelims result.

  7. HOW TO CHECK THE IBPS PO RESULT? Follow the simple steps to check IBPS PO result Step 1. Visit IBPS website www.ibps.in Step 2. Click on the result link (Result link should be available on notification bar of IBPS website if not click on IBPS PO section) Step 3. System will ask you to log in by putting registration/roll number and DOB/password Step 4. Result will be available on the screen Step 5. You can download and take a printout.

Step 1: IBPS PO Registration • Open the IBPS website. • Click the link ‘New Registration’ on the home page of IBPS • Enter name, phone number, email id, and security code • Upon successful registration, a provisional registration number and password are generated • The provisional registration number and password are also sent to the registered email ID and password Step 2: Upload Photo and Signature • Post-registration, candidates need to upload the photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration • Signature in capital letters will not be accepted • The left thumb impression should be properly visible • The handwritten statement should be in English only Step 3: Fill the detailed application form This page is divided into three parts, basic details, educational qualification & experience, and preferences. Check details below: Basic details: In this part, candidates need to fill in the category, nationality, personal information, select exam centers, date of birth, gender, father’s name or mother’s name, address, etc. Preferences: Candidates need to enter the importance of banks where they wish to work upon selection. SC/ST/Minority candidates can opt for pre-exam training in this part.

A: The total number of vacancies in 2021 is yet to release. Q.3 Can a final year graduation student apply for IBPS PO? A: No, the final-year student can not apply for IBPS PO, but the minimum qualifications require candidates to have a graduation degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
