We’d love to get this table if we’re only to play casually or study, or if we’re to light up the corner of the room where we decide to place it. The table is the grandest and the stateliest of the HOS lot. The reddish-brown hue of Cherry Wood is brilliant, and for a decorative table it is large and tall enough to play a game on. Its board square size is large at 2.5 inches, and its diameter of 32 inches gives enough free space on all four sides of the board, the left or right hand side good for a clock, and the top and bottom enough for the forearms to lay on for the long think. The pieces with a 4-inch King made of Sheesham and Kari wood that come with this table are also beautiful, although you could keep this aside in the drawer and use your luxury sets of up to 4.25 inch-Kings With its luxury materials and matching chess set, this is naturally the costliest of the HOS wooden tables. It comes at $1999.95. That is indeed hefty, and for that amount a true-blue chess player could well opt for a table that is even more comfortable for play and beautiful at the same time. If you’re out for a strictly decorative table, however, this is absolutely the best pick.

That’s a minor shortcoming of this board that really won’t deter us from taking it. With its combined weight of 950 pounds, this table naturally is the most expensive of the whole HOS lot, coming with a tag of $2999.95. That is indeed hefty, and for that amount a true-blue chess player could well opt for an indoors table that’s specially designed for the chess warrior.
