A reminder of the project components Task A – Preparation of GDMP • supply-demand scenarios • identification and ranking of infrastructure projects • economic benefits of gas • investment requirements Task B – Policy notes PNs 1-6 – Review of the existing framework PNs 7-10 – Recommendations on PSC provisions, incentives for private investment, price regulation and the balance between export and domestic consumption of gas Task C – Training programme This workshop forms part of Tasks A and C

  3. What happens next? We will now go away and update DASS-TIM with revised assumptions We will then use DASS-TIM to model the agreed policy scenarios, plus other scenarios which illustrate matters of interest The results of the modelling will be used to complete the analysis under Task A inform the next set of Policy Notes (7-10) under Task B

Capacity-building and consultation We expect to hold one or more further meetings during August and September ahead of the submission of the Draft Technical Report These meetings will be used to present the results of modelling of the policy scenarios discuss our initial conclusions from this analysis DASS-TIM will be transferred following a final workshop update users on any changes to the model since this workshop provide the final assumptions and scenarios used
