  3. Brief Overview of JJK • The foundation step of the organization was laid by a group of seven young and energetic people in the year 1978 but it was formally registered in the year of 1982-83. • Organization Registered under Society Registration Act- XXI, 1860

  5. EXPERIENCE OF Capacity Building • JJK has a vast experience of providing placement to all the participants it have trained. Under various programs and their components, different livelihood based activities have been promoted among the beneficiaries after providing training and capacity building to the. JJK has experience under IWMP, IWDP, DPAP, SJSY, SJSRY, AHVY Entrepreneurship Development of India (EDI). • We are also resource organization for Rajiv Gandhi UdyamiMitraYojana from Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises for the upliftment of Entrepreneurship. • JJK has been empanelled as one of the resource organization for training and placement of approx. 1000 candidates per year from Department of Urban Development under SwarnJayantiSahariRojgarYojana

Capacity Building Strategy for IWMP - Jharkhand • To develop strategies and action plan on institution Building, Capacity Building and facilitate for smooth implementation of the programme under IWMP in Jharkhand state. • To prepare Training Manual, Training Module, Training Calendar, IEC/ICT materials and Audio Visuals for conducting training on different themes as per Institution Building and Capacity Building of IWMP Jharkhand. • To identify pool of Resource Person, Resource Organization and Training Institute (State level/Division level/District level/IWMP project level) on different themes as per Institution Building and Capacity Building strategies of IWMP Jharkhand. • To organize theme based Training of Trainer (ToT) Programme and hand holding support to all IWMP stakeholders as per Training calendar.

Capacity Building Strategy for IWMP - Jharkhand • To co-ordinate with SLNA/WCDC/PIA/WDT/WC/SHG/UG/LG/Other stakeholders and help in organizing theme based training programme at State, District, Federation and Project level. • To organize Regional/State/Division/District/Block/Watershed level workshop, seminar, symposium, meeting on IWMP. • To organize exposure visits/exhibitions/Melas etc. on Watershed at State/District/ Project level. • To ensure quality of Institution Building, Capacity Building, hand holding support, documentation and report preparation at all level. • To prepare report as per prescribed format on Institution Building, Capacity Building, Success story and related work of IWMP Jharkhand and submit to WC/PIA/WCDC/SLNA/DoLR.

Capacity Building Strategy for IWMP - Jharkhand • To facilitate convergence with other departments i.e. MGNREGA/NRLM/SGSY/ NRHM/Soil conservation deptt./Forest deptt./other related organization. • To develop research, demonstration, monitoring tools, documentary, best practices & success story on IWMP Jharkhand. • To publish quarterly electronic newsletter/Annual report etc. on IWMP Jharkhand.

WCDC Level Strategy • To develop strategy and action plan for Institution Building and Capacity Building to all stakeholders of WCDC for effective execution as per training calendar at district level by using Training of Trainers (ToT) to WCDC, PIA, WDT and community based institutions. • Identify and update the pool of Community Resource Person (CRP) on different themes as per Institution Building and Capacity Building of IWMP, Jharkhand. • Identify the infrastructure at district level for effecting imparting of training programme. • Hand hold support to district level officials specially PIA/WDT/Watershed level stake holders • To facilitate for development of Model Watershed and Watershed park at regional/district/project level.
