Census Bureau Statistics • Census Bureau 2000 is the most recent full census and the baseline for data for upcoming proposal • Must compare apples to apples • Don’t mix surveys or stats • U.S. Census Bureau www.census.gov • Click on American FactFinder • Click on Data Sets • Select Census 2000 Summary File 3 Sample Data • Click on Detailed Tables • Choose geographic type (e.g. zip code, county, nation) • Click NEXT • Then do KEYWORD search (e.g. income, education) • Select which table you want (e.g. family income, educational attainment) TS & EOC Data Collection
