  1. Naturen Ltd. (history) • Founded in 1993 • Prototyping and R&D projects since • Test systems and embedded control test environments, vehicle simulationfor Automotive 1997 – • Aerospace end of 2005 -

  2. Cost effective Turn-Key systemsand prototypes • ATE (Automated Test Equipments) • Innovative custom machines • Simulation Main Advantages • Single Entry-point supplier in testing, simulation andcomplex product prototyping • Flexible SME with singlesignature decisions • Competence partners inHungary and world wide

  3. National Instruments is our maintechnology provider • Direct operations in 40+ countries • More than 1,000 products, 3,000 employees and 500 alliance program members • More than 80% of the total production is made in Hungary • Corporate headquarters in Austin, Texas • European headquarters in Budapest, Hungary Direct Sales Offices Distributors

  4. Diversity of NI Applications No Industry > 10% of Revenue Computers Automotive Semiconductors Electronics Telecom Advanced Research Food Processing ATE Petrochemical Textiles Military/Aerospace

  5. MIL-Aero Customers

  6. Advantages of NI Approach for MIL-Aero • Higher Performance • Faster Time to Market • Modular Platforms Reduced test equipment size by over 50% - U.S. Airforce • COTS Hardware • Lower Cost Reduced test equipment cost by 66% - Australian Military • Improved Quality Reduces the time it takes to move people through airport security checkpoints by 50% - Milestone Technology

  7. F-35 Wind Tunnel Testing with PXI • Customer: Lockheed Martin, G Systems – Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) • Application: Replace proprietary VME-based system with a system that acquires, analyzes, and stores dynamic pressure data from a next-generation jet fighter engine design. • Reason for choosing PXI: PXI product breadth, functionality • Products used: • PXI-18-slot chassis, MXI Remote Controller • PXI Dynamic Signal Acquisition • PXI-Slot 2 Controller (multiple chassis synchronization) • VMIC Reflective Memory card (Third Party) • LabVIEW Real-time • PXI Switch Controller

  8. MATRIXx Successes: P3-C Flight Control • Lear Astronics Corp. (BAE Systems) • Universal Vehicle Control System (UVCS) for USN Orion P3-C Aircraft • Modeling, Simulation, & Code Code Generation for UVCS, Configurable for Different Manned Aircraft Types • 9,000 Lines of Code • 50%: All Flight Control and Monitoring Generated by AutoCode • 42%: Re-used I/O and Executive Functions • 8%: Handwritten “Glue” Code • During Development, Software Problem Report Turn Around was Reduced to One Day

  9. In Flight Testing on RAAF Black Hawk Helicopter Rack-mount PXI System • Need to acquire, process, and display 80 distinct parameters in Real Time • Breadth and Functionality for single system • Serviceability – components need to be easily installed and removed from system

  10. Real-Time Sensor Measurements for Aerospace Testing The Challenge: Providing a cost-effective large-scale, high-speed data collection solution for complex data sets including acoustic, strain, pressure, vibration, temperature, and heat flux inputs with "near real-time" remote viewing and data reduction. The Solution: Using National Instruments LabVIEW, PXI, and SCXI technologies to achieve a tightly coupled, large-scale system that is both expandable and compact.

  11. Concluding remarks • We are here for to serve our partners as a flexible extension of their R&D, Prototyping and Testing Department, wearing their T-Shirt during the hard days of the innovation process • We are here for to solve problems, get fairly compensated and sharing the success, we have put the effort in
