  7. Dual Language Program in PK 50 – 50 program Learning and Activities in French and English Art in French for all of PK and KG

  8. Highlighting parts of the Agenda • Children should be at school by 8:20 a.m. and picked up by 3:20 in TT and 3:30 for grades 1-5.

  9. 2) Attendance • Excused • Unexcused • Medical Absence • Tardy • Tardy Excused

  10. 3) Dress Requirements • Shoes: black, brown, grey or navy blue • PE uniform must be worn during PE class • Uniform shorts may be worn until end of October • Hair: clean and tied back away from face • Uniform Sale: Saturday, September 3rd located in STJ Cafeteria 9 a.m. until 12 noon

  11. 4) Homework: • Grades 1 & 2: 30 mins. plus reading • Grades 3 & 4 : 45 mins. plus reading • Grade 5 : 60 mins. plus reading

  12. 5) Weekly Mass • Friday at 8:35 a.m. in the chapel • Father Zeb • All are welcome (parents too) • Begins Friday, September 9th

  13. 6) Ways to contact teacher • Emails addresses for teachers available in the agenda- feel free to write • Send a note through the agenda book • Make an appointment for after school • Attend all parent-teacher conferences Teacher Parent

  14. 7) Allergies • We are a Nut-Free School -parties -treats -sharing snacks • Medical information MUST always be current

  15. 7) Lost and Found • Cupboard near grade 1 and 2 rooms • Please label all garments and property

  16. 8) Swimming Program • Mandatory/part of the curriculum • Grades 2, 3, 4 and 5 • Rota • Supplies: -Bathing caps -Draw-string bag -Goggles (if wanted) -Speedos (Belgian rule)

  17. What else is in the Agenda book? • Daily homework log which requires parent signature • Helpful French information to review at home • Forms which must be signed • Helpful tips on various topics • Absentee & Message slips
