Background • During late 2003 Ardmore Banking Advisors (ABA) conducted a survey on activities of the Boards and Committees of many mid-Atlantic banking institutions of various sizes relating to the impact of Sarbanes-Oxley Reform Act of 2002. The following three charts depict some of the data derived from this survey. The source of the data was typically the banks' internal auditors or CFOs.

  6. More information • In early 2004 ABA conducted a survey of Audit Chairpersons and their roles and challenges in light of Sarbanes-Oxley. Some information on that survey will be displayed in September on ABA's website.
