  1. Setting Up Your PA CareerLink Profile and Building a Resume What is PA CareerLink? PA CareerLink is Pennsylvania’s leading career development website where job seekers, employers, students, educators and entrepreneurs get connected with career opportunities. CareerLink allows you to create a profile showing your education and work experience as well as your career interests. This will allow you to search for career track jobs which are a fit for your career interests. How to set up your CareerLink Profile. Go to https://www.cwds.state.pa.us Under “Individuals” choose “Create a resume” Choose Create CWDS Profile Fill in all required and relevant information, then hit “Save and Continue.” When choosing your “Keystone ID” and password, pick something that you will easily remember. As a backup, email your Keystone ID and password to your new Gmail account. On the right side of the screen enter your Keystone ID and log in. Read through the terms and conditions Skip the “Referals” section and move on to your resume Choose “Create” to create a new resume Choose “Experience” from the “Resume Template” dropdown menu. The rest is pretty straightforward.

  2. Creating a Gmail Account • Go to Gmail.com • Click the "Create an account" button located under the sign in section on the right side of the page. • Choose a new professional email address. Write down your name and new email address on a slip of paper and hand to one of the staff members in your room. • Fill out the necessary information in the page that opens. This includes your name, your desired log-in name, your desired password, a security question and answer, your location and your birthday. • Type the verification words into the appropriate box. Click "I accept. Create my account." This creates your new Gmail account. • Click the "Show me my account" button to go to your Gmail inbox.
