  3. In this EGM: The minutes of last AGM (2008) were passed*. The financial report of last year was passed. All the proposed constitutional changes were passed. All the members of the new executive committee were elected. Jessica Chan, the newly elected Chairlady, was elected as the representative to the School Management Board.

Adopt Minutes of last AGM Date: 25 October 2008 Venue: Our Lady Of the Rosary College PRESENCE Advisors: Mr Chan Wing Sun & Ms Vivian Low Committees: Jessica Chan , Angela Kwok, Peggy Ho, Eunice Siu & Carly Tse Others: Alumni and Teachers MINUTES 1) IT WAS RESOLVED that the 2007 financial was prepared and approved. 2) IT WAS RESOLVED that the mentorship program was launched in December. 3) IT WAS RESOLVED that the scholarship program was under preparation and will be announced once it’s finalized. 4) IT WAS RESOLVED that the next AGM will be scheduled in October 2009

  6. 2009 Work Review Mentorship Program 2008-09: A total of 30 mentees and 15 mentors to offer a close alumni and students bonding; and guide their development. Elderly home visit with current OLR students Sponsorship for F.5 graduation dinner “Giffarrine” make up products Participation in I-day, Singing contest, PTA ; members recruitment, bimonthly newsletter, Alumni souvenir, website maintenance

  12. Constitution Changes Ten Percent of the voting members of the association shall form a quorum for an Extraordinary General Meeting….

  13. Constitution Changes (1) Article IV Membership Delete – 1) Life Member and 2) Heritage Member Keep existing – 1. Full Member - A Full Member is a former student who has registered as the Association’s full member. 2. Honorary Member – The Executive Committee may appoint any person or persons to the Honorary Members of the Association who shall be entitled to attend and advise the meetings of the Association buy they shall not have the power to vote thereat.

  14. Constitution Changes (2) Delete Article V Subscription 1. Subscription will be decided by the Executive Committee of the Association. 2. The subscription period of members would start from the first day of a year and end on the last day of the same years. Members who choose to renew their memberships at the Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) would enjoy their membership benefits in the year immediately follows (counting from the first of January). 3. In no circumstances should subscription paid be refundable.

  15. Constitution Changes (3) Article V Rights of the Members Changes – 1. All Full Members instead of Life Members, Heritage Members shall be have the right to vote at the General Meetings of the Association. 2. All Full Members instead of Life Members, Heritage Members shall have the right to nominate and to be nominated for election of Executive Committee.

  16. Constitution Changes (4) Article VI Management Changes – 1. Executive Committee shall be of not less than 5 instead of 7 and not more than 15 instead of 12. 2. The Executive Committee shall elect amongst its members: one President, One Internal Vice-President, one External Vice President, one Secretary, and on Treasurer.

  17. Constitution Changes (4) Article VI Management (cont.) Changes - 3. In the event of the President vacating office, the Internal Vice-President will automatically take her place to be President for the residue of the terms of office. In the event of both the President and the Internal Vice-President vacating this office, the External Vice-President will automatically take her place to be the President for the residue of the terms of office. 4. Every two years during the AGM, the Full Members of the Association would elect a Full Member of the Association to take office in the School Management Board of OLR. The term of office for this person would be two years.

  18. Constitution Changes (5) Article VII Annual General Meeting Changes- 1. Written notices and agenda shall be sent to all members at least 14 days instead of 21 days prior to the meeting. 2. 30 instead of 10% Full Members of the Association shall form a quorum.

  19. Constitution Changes (6) Article VIII Election of Executive Committee Members Changes - 1. Full Members instead of Life Members, Heritage Members and Student Members are eligible for one vote each at the AGM.

  20. Constitution Changes (7) Article VIII Extraordinary General Meeting Changes - 1. If necessary, an Extraordinary General Meeting may be held at any time upon receipt of a request of the Executive Committee or a requisition in writing signed by not less than 30 instead of 10% voting members specifying the object of the proposed meeting. 2. 30 instead of 10% voting members of the Association shall form a quorum from the EGM

"Hundred Dollars" Program • Mission: • Raise fund for Elite Asso’s recurrent expenses • Fund activities organized by Elite Asso. for alumni • Support joint programs with OLR • Provide Scholarships to current OLR students • How to support us? • Simply donate HK$100 to us every year • Tell everyone you know from OLR about this program • Payment Method - Transfer via HSBC A/C or by Cheque
