  3. Summit The Indigenous Summit will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina in October 2005, to precede and inform the Fourth Summit of the Americas, the forum of the Organization of American States (OAS). - 2 -

  4. Purpose To provide an international forum for deliberation and articulation of Indigenous perspectives on a range of topics related to the work of the OAS and the themes to be addressed during the Summit of the States. - 3 -
