  4. Our Story Consejo is an award-winning agency that has provided over 35 years of culturally-competent services to a growing yet still underserved Latino community. Our demonstrated outcomes providing equitable, efficient and effective care have established a noteworthy reputation across Washington State and beyond. In Spanish, the word “Consejo” means advice. Our logo depicts a Maya leader whispering words of wisdom. To us, this signifies the importance of Latino ancestral cultural values as inspiration for living successfully in contemporary American society. Transform • Strengthen • Empower
