Important Dates • Legislative Session • Start Date: March 8, 2011 • Last Date: May 6, 2011 • If Legislative work is not complete, session may be extended • Budget • After the session ends, the budget is submitted to the Governor for review and signature • After the budget is signed, OSFA is notified of the 2011-2012 Appropriation amounts • Information disseminated to postsecondary partners in May 2011 • OSFA website is updated in July 2011

  3. Legislative Tracking • As of March 16, OSFA was tracking 45 bills that may affect state scholarship and grant programs or postsecondary institutions • List will increase as bills are added
