  3. Irregulars • If a verb is irregular in its yo form, then it will be the same in the command form. • Example: • Seguir → Sigo (Yo form) → Siga (Command) • Other similar verbs: • Caer, hacer, oír, poner, salir, venir, tener, traer, ofrecer

  4. Spelling Changes • Verbs ending in –car, -gar, or –zar require spelling changes before adding an -e: • -car → -que • -gar → -gue • -zar → -ce • Example: • Buscar → Busque (Ud.) → Busquen (Uds.)

  5. Nosotros Command Forms • Use these to say let’s do something or let’s not do something. • -ar verbs end in –emos • -er and –ir end in –amos • Example: • Participar → Participemos • Irregulars work the same as Ud. Commands

  6. Irregular…Irregulars • Some verbs do not use irregular yo forms to create their forms • Dar → Demos • Estar → Estemos • Saber → Sepamos • Ser → Seamos • Ir → Vamos; Negative: No Vayamos

  7. Reflexives • For reflexives: drop the last “s” and put the reflexive pronoun in its place • Example: • Levantemos → Levantemonos

  8. Conditional • Conditional allows you to talk about what you could, should, or would do • It works the same as the future tense: • Add the ending straight to the infinitive • All words have the same ending • Endings:

  9. Irregular Stem • Same irregulars as the future because they share form changes:
