  2. Why Weightlifting Belts Are An Excellent Investment For Strength And Conditioning Programs? If you are a weightlifter, or plan on becoming one, you need to invest in a weightlifting belt. A weightlifting belt not only makes you safer, but it makes you more efficient. A weightlifting belt not only has two major functions; it helps you perform weight-training exercises properly, and it also helps prevent injury. First let's talk about what a weightlifting belt does. First, a weight belt decreases lower back stress and unnecessary fatigue by supporting the torso. When you are lifting in an upright stance, it is difficult for your legs to keep up with the increased weight of your arms, your back has to take the brunt of this extra load, which increases both lower back pain and unnecessary fatigue. A weight belt decreases lower back strain by compression of the contents of your abdominal cavity. Visit powerlift riem. Second, a belt increases your muscle efficiency. Think about the last time you had your legs "pushing" you against the desk in a crunch position. Unless you are a professional bodybuilder or gymnast, chances are you have felt some of that ab-builders "core muscle burn." During the endless series of repetitions of that crunch, your spine had to bear the incredible force, extending, and straightening throughout your entire core muscle group. A weight belt helps reduce that intra-abdominal pressure, allowing your spine to assume a more neutral position that further supports your body and minimizes the amount of force your core muscles must endure. Finally, a belt makes deadlifts and squats more effective. Most weightlifters understand the importance of deadlines to building big muscle. Most non-gym lifters simply do not use the full range of deadlift exercises, which are a tremendous resource for growth! Have a look at weightlifting beltto get more info on this.  The belt is so useful that many athletes are switching it out for their normal workout and power training gear. Before you get the idea, it has not been my experience that wearing a belt actually reduces work out time. Wearing a belt helps you lift more with less effort. But that's not all it does. In addition to decreasing work out time, lifters who switch out their regular barbell training gear often increase their total physical output during each session. Not only do they feel more productive, they actually end up using more muscle when all is said and done. When you consider all these benefits, I'm sure you will find that a belt is a great investment for serious strength and conditioning programs. There are many different styles of belts on the market. Some include straps, crosses, and clamps. Some are made of leather and feature studs for lifting specific weight ranges. No matter your goals, you will be better off investing in a high quality, durable weightlifting belt. Visit barbelts.
