Summary of WebEx • The WebEx focused on publication of the draft message specification and where and how to get it. • Simon, one of the message developers, walked through the specification and called out some of the key areas we are asking for feedback • Vocabs • SnomedCTSee the summary slide for location of feedback documents. • Key review dates, e.g. 8th August for feedback, were outlined.

Draft message Specification • The next group of slides will give an overview of • the TRUD site • Where the message is on the site • How to download it • How to install it • In summary • logon to TRUD, navigate to Collections, Specifications for Consultation or Draft Status, Telehealth – Domain Message Specification, click download, then under Telehealth DMS Version 2.0 (Draft A) click on “Download this release” . The download zip is 14.5MB in size.   6. Draft message: TRUD Site • The TRUD site is separate to the NHS Networks site and requires registration. TRUD stands for "Technology Reference data Update Distribution" and from here you can download reference files from the Department of Health Informatics Directorate. Essentially all the ITK message specifications are held here. www.uktcregistration.nss.cfh.nhs.uk/trud3 • If you do not already have an account you will need to ‘Create an account’ – registration takes about 5 mins and is quick to complete.

Draft Message: Where is it? • The draft message is under the NHS Interoperability Framework collection, on the left hand side of the screen. • …then click on the specifications for Consultation or Draft Status… • …now under the Telehealth – Domain Message Specification item click on the Subscribe link. Once subscribed you can download the released message it self. Click on download and then under Telehealth DMS Version 2.0 (Draft A) click on “Download this release” . The download is 14.5MB in size.

  8. How to Install the Message • The download is a ZIP file containing a number of files making up the message specification and other supporting documentation. Download to a file location and then extract to a suitable location. • The message is accessed via an HTML interface. This is launched by clicking on Index.htm which should open in your web browser. Click on Index.htm… …to launch the Telehealth DMS ‘home page’…

  9. A Tour of the Message • To view the message definitions – click on the “Message Definitions” tab at the top of the home page… • Now click on the RMIM icon to view the CDA Model of the message…

  10. Message Tour 2 1 After opening the CDA RMIM click on the Coded Entry box – bottom right hand side. This displays a list of all the coded entries – in the WebEx we clicked on the Blood Glucose entry – upper left hand quadrant.

  11. Message Tour 3 2 1 • The Blood Glucose model is opened. To drill down to the Blood Glucose Threshold vocab entry… • Click on Threshold Reference – lower right corner. (1) • Then the BloodGlucoseThresholdRef (2) • And then the expanded BloodGlucoseThresholdRef (3) • And finally the ‘link to the BloodGlucoseThreshold Model (4) 4

Prioritised review items We are looking for feedback on • Vocab – use the vocab feedback sheet on NHS Networks.You can jump to the Vocab directly by opening the directory the message was extracted to and then going to the Vocab sub dir.http://www.networks.nhs.uk/nhs-networks/interoperability-toolkit-itk/documents/PHMR_Vocab-Feedback.zip/view • SNOMEDCT – use the SNOMEDCT feedback sheet on NHS Networks.   14. Summary • End date for feedback is the 8thAugust. Feedback should be sent to cfh.interoperabilityteam@nhs.net • Use the feedback sheets on NHS Networks • Vocab – download the zipped document and extract it to the same directory as the index.htm file used to launch the message home page.
