  2. Factors Contributing to Climate • 30N, 130W • California Current • Selupaq Mountain (volcano), Spring, Swirl River, Bear Cub Lake, Turberon Harbor • Subtropical high

  4. Climate Paragraph • Identify island and relative location • Describe climate (general weather) of island: (What is climate of coastline and what is climate inland?) • Describe physical geography (mountains, volcanoes, etc.). Explain different climate patterns here if necessary. • General precipitation patterns for seasons (rain, snow) • General temperature patterns for seasons.

  5. Climate Description for Libera • Our island is named Libera and is located beside The United States near San Francisco. It is hot, dry and it hardly rains on the island except in winter, because it is on the subtropical high area near the equator. The ocean that surrounds us is cold, even on rainy days. When summer comes, the temperatures are often between 17C-18C, and in winter, the temperatures are between 9C-11C. • Our island has various landforms. There are volcanoes, springs, waterfalls, harbors, lakes and rivers. The volcano is about 5500 feet. These high areas are filling with smoke. Although Libera is cold, the equator's air doesn’t affect Libera in the spring and summer, because the subtropical high blows the warm air away. Summers are generally warm and dry, because the California Current is cold and makes Libera not too hot. Libera is a much-loved island, and is a precious home to many people. Sometimes it may be too cold, or it may rain too much, but all in all, Libera is worm and the paradise for many people!

  6. Climate Concerns Global warming will affect every single living being on this planet. Soon, humans may not even be able to breathe in this atmosphere because of such contamination, and other animals will die from all the pollution. If one kind of animal dies, according to the food chain, all the rest soon die too, because all animals are linked no matter what.

  7. Agriculture, Aquaculture, Livestock • Animals: eagle, cow, deer, sheep, chicken, fox, rabbit, pig (there will be whale come to Libera on March)…etc. Vegetation: Orange, Pineapple, corn, Lettuce, banana, apple, grapefruit.
