  2. Mercury • Mercury - God Of Trade/Profit (roman) • Mercury was a messenger, Mercury was also considered a god of abundance and commercial success. • Mercury is known to the Romans as Mercurius and in early writings as Merqurius, Mirqurios or Mircurios.

  3. Venus • Venus - Goddess of love (roman) • Venus means love or sexual desire. • Venuswas a major Roman goddess usually associated with love, beauty and fertility, who played a key role in many Roman religious festivals and myths.

  4. Earth • Earth- Gaia Mother Nature ( greek ) • Greek goddess personifying Earth. • In her hand, the poppy flower can be transformed as a pomegranate. • Greeks believed Gaia bore many gods and goddesses.

  5. Mars • Mars - God of war (roman) • The husband of Bellona, son of Juno and Jupiter, and lover of Venus. • Mars is the most prominent military god.

  6. Jupiter • Jupiter – King of Gods/God of Sky (roman) • The father of Mars and Mercury, son of Saturn and brother of Veritas • Jupiter ruled over laws and social order.

  7. Saturn • Saturn - God of Agriculture(roman) • When Jupiter ascended the throne, Saturn fled to Rome and established the Golden Age, a time of peace and harmony, which lasted as long as he reigned.

  8. Uranus • Uranus- God of Sky (Greek) • Uranus is the son and husband of Gaia. • Uranus imprisoned Gaia's youngest children, deep in Earth, and his youngest son, Cornus, castrated him.

  9. Neptune • Neptune - God of the Sea (roman) • Neptune is brother of Jupiter and Pluto. • For a time he was paired with Salacia, the goddess of the salt water.
