  4. INCUBATION PERIOD IS VARIABLE • According to virulence,population and susceptible shows the variability of 2 -15 days. • Expected ,between 2-6 days in chickens.

MORBİDİTE/MORTALİTE YÜKSEKTİR • Lentojenik suşlarda morbidite yüksekken mortalite önem kazanmaz • Mezojenik suşlarda yine yüksek morbidite ve % 10’lara varabilecek mortalite beklenebilir • Velojenik suşlarda,aşısız hayvanlarda morbidite ve mortalite % 100’e ulaşır • Aşılanmış hayvanlarda bile % 30 ile 90 arasında değişen mortalite bildirilmiştir
