  1. The Gyandoot Project Kiosks have been established in the village Panchayat Buildings. Information kiosks have dial up connectivity through local exchanges on optical fibre or UHF links • The Gyandoot project was launched on January 1, 2000with the installation of a low cost rural intranet covering 20 village information kiosks in five blocks of the district. Deepak Patel(Gyandoot Kiosk operator in Badji village) (Example of the benefits of the Kiosks to the rural population) ; a complaint costing Rs 10 brought drinking water to a tribal hamlet of 39 houses. The villagers previously tried to tell the local authorities but didn’t get any help for about 6months. To the villagers surprise their complaint filed through the Kiosks and within 2 days the pump was repaired
