Each suit describes a category of responses: • Hearts: something from the heart • Clubs: new ideas or thoughts that grew • Diamonds: wisdom that will last forever • Spades: what will you plant going forward 2. Think about your response based on your card’s suit and your experience today and/or this year 3. When prompted, you’ll stand to share with a partner

  33. Optimistic Closure: Suit Yourself Digging up… What would you like to plant as you go forward? Something from the heart... What you felt and what it meant to you Things that grow… New ideas New thoughts New point of view Gems of wisdom...gathered during our time together

  34. Optimistic Closure: Suit Yourself As an optimistic closure, “Suit Yourself” builds reflection and evaluation skills as we think about how an experience impacted us. Hearing from others about their experience can also provide opportunities for us to practice perspective taking, empathy, and appreciating diversity.
