  3. Group A: Overview Who is under Group A? • All Tested Subjects and Grades • Grades 3–5 • Grades 6–8 and 10–11 in ELA and Math • Grades 6-7 and 10-11 in Science • Special Education in all grades (except severe and profound)

  4. Group A: Overview What is the model for Group A Teachers?

Business Rules for Group A • SBA must be a minimum of 35% of Student Achievement measure • Remaining 15% may have two components weighted equally or 10% or 5% respectively • SBA can count for up to 50% of Student Achievement measure • Observations (Domains 2 and 3) are equally weighted • Multiple Measures (must contain PDP-Domain’s 1 and 4) • Domains 1 and 4 are a combined weight of professional practice • Minimum of 2 components • Maximum of 3 components

  6. Group B: Overview Who is under Group B? • All Non-Tested Subjects and Grades • Grades K–5 in non-core content teachers (CTE, Arts, etc.) • Grades 9 and 12 in ELA and Math • Grades 6–12 in Social Studies • Grades 8, 12 Science (9-11 are based on course structure of each district)

Business Rules for Group B • Student achievement • 50% if one component • (School VAM can be no more than 15%) • 35%/15% if two components • 35%/10%/5% if three components • Observations (Domains 2 and 3) are equally weighted • Multiple Measures (must include PDP Domain’s 1 and 4) • Domains 1 and 4 are a combined weight of professional practice • Minimum of 2 components • Maximum of 3 components
