They place recommendations on stocks or other securities, typically phrased as "buy", "sell", or "hold¨. Key players: UBS, Deutsche, HSBC, Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, etc. Portfolio Managers: Investment decisions using other people money (buy and sell securities) Key playres: Schroders (SIM), Fidelity, PDFM (UBS), Deutsche, AXA, Capital, etc. Buy-sideanalysts Venture capital: Type of private equity capital typically provided for early-stage, high-potential, growth companies in the interest of generating a return through an eventual realization event such as an IPO or trade sale of the company.
