  1. Physics Analysis 2/06 • Meetings • 17 synopsis submitted to U.S. Paper Selection committee for 2006 IAEA • Working on abstracts for 2006 TTF and EPS • Abstracts also were submitted to 2006 PSI conference • E. Fredrickson giving a talk at March APS meeting on stochastic heating of energetic ions by REs • Publications • Plans for approximately 7 PRLs (month-springtime time scale for submittal) • Papers submitted to PoP and Nuclear Fusion on energetic particles and fast ion modes, and on NSTX confinement • NSTX will be a player in both the NFC proposal and BPO testing and implementation of remote collaboration utilities • One-to-one, one-to-many and control room • D. Mikkelsen and R. Budny spent one week at GA at a GYRO user’s group meeting • Prelude to gearing up for non-linear GYRO calculations for NSTX • Planning a exp’t-theory meeting to map out strategy for G-K calcs for NSTX when all are back in town (include GEM, GTC-NEO) • 2005 L- and H-mode data on energy confinement and core transport has been written into a database and is ready to be analyzed • Approximately 170 shots have been processed (about 140 are H-mode) • Once vetted, this data, along with additional information, will be contributed to the international databases (ITPA) – aim for April 2006 (time of ITPA meeting)
