School of health for hypertensive patients is the complex of joint methods and means of individual prophylactic counseling and, particularly, work in groups for both sick and at high risk patients. It directs to: Øimprove awareness Øwork out practical habits, skills to eliminate ..behavioral risk factors Øraise compliance to treatment Øoptimize patients cure Øprevent severe complications Øincrease their quality of life

  5. Target groups and location • School consists of 8-10 patients with mild, moderate and severe arterial hypertension. • “School of health for hypertensive patients” can be arranged in hospitals, outpatient clinics, sanatoriums, and cardiologic dispensaries.

Structural educational programme for patients reverse communication, explanation, repetition, fixation, visual aids cognitive, emotional and senso-motor levels of the perception Educational units, then educational steps presenting aim and logic in an active, «questions-answers» form Pedagogical methods Psychologicalmethods Special professional information
