  4. There are a few ways to express time before the hour: • Es la una y cuarenta y cinco • dos quince. • quince las dos. 1:45 Son las menos Faltan para To indicate the specific time of the day, you say: • …de la mañana, tarde, noche Es la una de la tarde.

  5. To say when something happens in a general (non-specific) way without giving a specific time, you say: • en la mañana, tarde, noche La reunión va a ser en la mañana. Otras expresiones: • tarde • temprano • a tiempo
