ISCP – System use for 1st 2 years • Facts re the use of ISCP online tools by trainees who had been validated by their PD • Encouraging as for all levels & trainee types • Every specialty (except CardioThor) has: • 80% entered an online Work Based Asmt • 74% of them have a Learning Agreement • Progress best in General Surgery, Urology & Paediatrics >86%, & Core trainees are 98% • Every deanery has: • 85% entered an online Work Based Asmt • 79% of them have a Learning Agreement • Northern, N Ireland, Severn, SW Peninsula, Wales, Wessex & Yorkshire are all over 90%

  3. v6 - Navigation • Rebuilt Navigation to make easier to use • Dropdown menus from the top of screen • Uses full width of the screen • Browsing easier, through content of sections shown before clicking • More help available on more pages • Views can be customised • Improved logbook • Externally Managed Hosting

  5. v6 – Notices & Actions • Traffic lighted Alerts highlights actions that need to be taken • ‘Quick links’ can be added to users Dashboard for speedy access to areas • Dashboard Messages shown immediately • New messages shown on notices page • External Messages extended to all users • All links are customisable by the user • Users can set up how often they are emailed alerts

  7. v6 – Topic Progression • Topics are added to your Learning Agreement as normal • Topics are the hub for all recorded info, eg Assessments, Evidence & Procedures • Topics can be browsed by placement, level, syllabus or all • Clicking on topic shows progress and evidence recorded against topic • Outcomes set are viewable throughout your training

  9. v6 - WBAs • Registration of Others easier • In WBAs, raters can be picked from Favourites or hospital or name • Assessors can validate WBAs at the time of entry (via the Trainees account) • Assessors emailed alerts for validation • Assessors can enter WBAs • AESs able to enter & validate WBAs • Topics more inter-linked to WBAs

Trainee Event - 11th Sept 09 • Trainees able to suggest new WBAs • Users to be able to input their own password upon registration • Easier printing of reports • Enable reports to be exported eg pdf • Loading of frames to happen faster • Reduce pop-up window function • Increase the number of help buttons • Enable mobile devices to use the WBAs
