  1. INTRODUCING...

  2. The Bugatti Veyron, designed and developed by the Volkwagen Group and produced by Bugatti Automobiles in Molsheim, Alsace, France.

  3. It’s a unique automobile with a W16 configuration engine (2 - 8 cylinders) resulting in 1001 HP at 6000 RPM, 922 ft-lbf, 4 turbos, 7-gear box!

  4. It accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 2.5 seconds! (The Suzuki Hayabusa 1300 does 0 to 62 mph in 2.8 seconds)

  5. 0 to 186 mph is in 14 seconds

  6. This car has two speed maximums. The first is 186 mph at 750 hp, the second can be obtained once you have passed a special driving school at Bugatti. Then you top out at 252 mph using 1001 hp.

  7. What is 252 mph? In one second you travel 371 feet!!

  8. A different view showing how things are connected.

  9. Which cars are almost as fast as the Bugatti? Koenigsegg CCR (Sweden) – (241 mph) McLaren F1 (England) - (240 mph)

  10. If the McLaren and the Bugatti started at the same time, side by side, after 1640 feet the McLaren would be passing through 120 mph and way behind the Bugatti, which would be blazing through 199 mph!

  11. The gasoline tank will hold 26 gallons. If driving at top speed, the tank will be empty in 12 minutes. There has never been a car driving at these speeds, accordingly Volkswagen requested Michelin to produce a special tire for this car. This resulted in the front tires being the new 265/30R 20 and the rear tires known as 335/30R 20. The brakes are truly something special, you get a warranty that this car at 252 mph will be at a standstill in 10 seconds, and the tires will remain intact! This all has to cost something, RIGHT?? $1,600,000 compared to the Lamborghini Murciélago at $393,000.
