Download Screen • URL = https://wap.hancocksoftware.com/MD/ • User Name • Same as WAP Online • Include Initial Data • First time you use the app • Each time you switch user names • Each time you type a different url • Click Start • When you have a Wi-fi signal • All scheduled energy audits assigned to you show on the device

  3. Client List Screen Left Pane Right Pane • Client Detail • Matches the client info section of WAP Online • Edit basic information and Fuel usage • You will see “S” and “I” • S = Scheduled Energy Audit • I = job to be inspected • Assessment Date • Entered in WAP Online before the download • Name • First time you use the app • Each time you switch user names • Each time you type a different url

  5. House Information Screen Enter: • 5. Air Leakage • Defaults to normal conditions, change only ifhouse is not a normal condition • 6. House Dimensions • Choose + • Add floor dimensions in bottom window • Save • (Delete = red circle, Clear = clears entire screen) • 7. Building Tightness • Choose top effective CFM • Confirm Effective CFM • Calculate • (This will change soon to Ashrae 62.2) • 1. House Type • Drop down list • 2. DHW Heating • Drop down list • 3. Basement Type • Drop down list • 4. General Info • Mechanical Vent calculation • Year Built • Check boxes

  6. Heating and Cooling Screen Enter: • 5. Post Efficiency • Estimate it at the time of the audit. • 6. Enter 2 new measures • Click “Enter Measure” • Click “Choose to add measure” • Enter unit cost and quantity • (only check fuel switch if you are changing the heating source.) • (If you were energy auditing the cooling system, you would click “+” to add the second system • 1. Existing System • System Type • Heat Source • Type • Efficiency (AFUE displays) • Usage Ratio (1 = 100%, or only heating system. For example, if a house uses a woodstove 10 percent of time and a FHA furnace 90 percent, usage ratio = .1and .9 respectively.) • Utility • Hit Save and go back to the “Fuel Usage” screen and enter Utility. • 2. Enter all comments about all measures in the one comment box

  7. Zonal Distribution Screen Enter: • 3. Post Efficiency • Estimate it at the time of the audit. • 4. Enter new measures • Click “Enter Measure” • Click “Choose to add measure” • Enter unit cost and quantity • 1. Check heating or cooling • In most cases, choose heating • System Type • Efficiency • 2. Enter all comments about all measures in the one comment box

  8. Combustion Test Screen Enter: • 1. Combustion Test Results • Stack Temp • Draft • O2 • OverFire Draft • Smoke • Test Efficiency • CO2 • 2. Enter all comments

  9. CO Test Screen Enter: • 1. Choose Appliance • Stack Temp • 2. Pre, Post, Ambient, DHW Draft

  10. DHW Measure Install Screen Enter: • 1. Choose to add Measure + • 2. For each measure enter • Utility (If no utility go back to fuel usage) • Unit cost • Quantity • Comment

  11. Basement Floor Screen Enter: • 3. Enter Measure • Click “Choose to add measure” • Enter unit cost and quantity • 1. Existing Conditions • Section • R • Dimensions • Section Quantity = How many sections are there of the dimensions you are defining? • 2. Enter comments for all measures

  12. Attic Screen Enter: • 3. Enter Measure • Click “Choose to add measure” • Enter unit cost and quantity • 3. Enter Existing and New Vents • Click “Choose to add measure” • Enter unit cost and quantity for a new vent • Check “exist” for an existing vent • 1. Existing Conditions • Section • R • Dimensions • Section Quantity = How many sections are there of the dimensions you are defining? • Roof type • Roof Material • Chimney to Block • Recessed Lights • 2. Enter comments for all measures

  13. Wall Screen Enter: • 3. Enter Measure • Click “Choose to add measure” • Enter unit cost and quantity • 1. Existing Conditions • Section • R • Dimensions • Door Window square footage will subtract from total dimensions • Section Quantity = How many sections are there of the dimensions you are defining? • 2. Enter comments for all measures

Existing Conditions • Section • Existing R = Existing U Value • Dimensions • Section Quantity = How many sections are there of the dimensions you are defining? • 2. Enter comments for all measures

  15. Air Infiltration Screen Enter: • 3. Don’t Enter Measures • Don’t worry about entering measures here. WAP Online will ignore the measures and enter “Blower Door guided airsealing” at (pre – post) *$.55 • 1. Pre Test • Post test is entered at the time of inspection or after you upload to WAP Online • Ring Type • House Pressure • Leave fan pressure blank and type in CFM • Or Enter fan pressure and cfm will default • 2. Enter comments for all measures

  17. Lighting Screen Enter: • 3. Enter Measure • Click “Choose to add measure” • Enter unit cost and quantity • 1. Existing Appliances • Appliance • Existing watts • Hours = Average no. of hours each bulb runs • Section Quantity = How many existing bulbs? • Utility – If utility is blank, go back to fuel usage. • 2. Enter comments for all measures

  18. Refrigerator Screen Enter: • 1. Existing Refrigerator • Enter information about existing model • SEARCH = Will search refrigerator database for meter readings • OR meter the refrigerator and enter the readings. • 2. Enter Replacement information, if replacing
