I uphold the Target Behaviors I will involve all students in learning activities. I will provide clear learning goals. I will give general explanations of what is on the quizzes and tests.   23. Extra Credit • Any extra credit will be incorporated into quizzes and tests so that it is equally accessible to each student. There is NO individual extra credit reports or assignments.

  24. What you need! • 3-Ringed Binder for your Portfolio • 2 notebooks (one for journaling, and one for notes) • textbook • pencil • dictionary • good attitude

  25. Absence Policy • Students are responsible for all material covered the day of the absence. Students should hand in any work that was due the day they return. Students will have the required amount of time (2 days) to make up any new homework. • If you know you are going to be gone for any reason you must get your work before you leave. If possible complete and turn in the work before you leave. If you miss a test or quiz you must make it up quickly upon your return.

What’s in it for me? • Develop proficiency in listening, reading, writing and speaking. • Develop intonation and pronunciation in Spanish to enhance oral & aural skills. • Compare and contrast the US culture with others in order to develop our identity and create sensitivity towards others. • Preparation for further language study or travel.
