  2. What are robots? • Robots are machines. • Robots do hard work that humans usually do. • Although robots can do stuff like humans, they don’t have brains.

  3. When did robot history start? • The first robot was built 350 B.C. by a man named Archytas. • He built a mechanical bird called “the pigeon.”

  4. What do robots do? • Typical robots do jobs that are difficult, dangerous or dull. • Robots work hour after hour and day after day. • They don’t get tired, they don’t make errors, and they don’t get paid.

  5. What types of robots are there today? • There is a lot of types of robotstoday, here are some. • Mobile robots • Stationary robots • Remote control robots • And lastly BEAM robots. BEAM stands for Biology, Electronics, Aesthetics, and Mechanics.

  6. Fun Facts! • Robots Playing Soccer • Robots have gone to the extreme, right now there is one on mars! • They can even play sports! • They are even in movies too!
