Each part of a plant has a different function. What is one function of the leaves of a plant? • A Leaves hold the plant in the ground. • B Leaves structure and center the plant. • C Leaves carry water to different parts of the plant. • D Leaves absorb sunlight used by the plant.

Identify the major parts of a flowering plant and give their functions. **When you finish, also discuss how someone could answer the question and result in a score of 0 or 1.

  6. In your notebooks, try the following CRQ example. Flowers use various pollinators in order to reproduce. Give an example of a pollinator and describe how it pollenates a flower. Answer this question using all three of the possible formats
