  7. Transition Types • Day One (estimated usage) • Staggered • Normal meter read • Modified meter read RMS

Day One Transition An estimation methodology would be developed and presented by Sharyland Estimation methodology must be agreed to by Market Participants and PUCT All ESI-ids would transition to Default REPs or Competitive REPs on Day One and be settled competitively NOIE meter points terminated on Day One RMS

  9. Staggered Transitionnormal meter read cycle As ESI-ids are read on their normal meter read cycle, ESI-ids are transitioned to competition Competitive ESI-id load volume backed out of NOIE meter point for settlement purposes Once all ESI-ids are transitioned, the NOIE meter points are terminated RMS

  10. Staggered Transitionmodified meter read cycle Meter read cycles modified to be read on a single date All ESI-ids behind a station are read on a modified meter read schedule NOIE meter point terminated Process continues until all Stations process RMS
