  10. Moving into Kindergarten is a unique experience in the life of any child, even a child who has been to day care or preschool. In the eyes of most children, Kindergarten is “big school” and entering big school represents a huge step in their development. A smooth transition to Big School

  11. Educational programs Current Educational Programs: L3 – Language, Learning & Literacy • Language, Learning and Literacy (L3) is a research-based, Kindergarten classroom intervention program targeting text reading and writing. • Students receive explicit instruction in reading and writing strategies in small groups of three. Students then rotate to independent individual or group tasks. This occurs each morning in the daily literacy session. TEN – Targeting Early Numeracy • The Targeted Early Numeracy (TEN) intervention program provides support for students experiencing difficulty in learning numeracy in the early years. • TEN will be implemented within a normal daily lesson maths block, without withdrawal or an additional specialist teacher.
