  2. WIDTH • Width of your films also is important to dwell on. Most of the roll laminators are quite wide, so if your one is like that, ensure to choose a roll which is the correct size for it. The larger rolls of laminates are particularly good for the wide-format items including banners, posters, etc

  3. CORE SIZE • Each roll of the laminating film you purchase has a core which laminate is wrapped with. It's vital to know the sizes of core so you just don't end up purchasing supplies with cores which are either too small or too large.

  4. THICKNESS • One among the most vital considerations when purchasing laminating films is their thickness. Films are available in different thicknesses varying from 1.5 mil to 10 mil. One mil equals to 0.001 inch, so higher is the mil rating, thicker the laminate that means your documents will be protected.

  5. FINISH • The laminating film is available in couple of finishes: matte and glossy. Glossy laminate looks wonderful and it's available readily. However, this kind of finish also can lead to glare that can make your work hard to see.
