  2. Project Objective: Our team will conceptualize the idea of creating a mobile application and a website called PMID for the new students coming to Delft University of Technology. It will help them find their way around the delft. With this application they can feel safer, comfortable and indulge into student life faster and enjoy it to the maximum.

  3. Acculturation Objectives: • Practical matters include bikes, households, places for health and beauty, super markets and places to hangout in their initial days • Alot of maps and other tools are available to find a way in the university as well as in the city but we didn’t find a mobile application • To develop a mobile application as well as a website to help student to find a solution to the above problems • The app is named as PMID – Practical Matters in Delft • This app will help students to find places to: • Buy/repair bikes • Buy households • Handout • Health and beauty • Eat and Drink • Events happening in the university and city

  4. Application Design: Step 1: Logo • Title: Practical matters in delft • Orange circles show the content in the application that a student may find

  5. Step 2: Home Screen • Name of the application • Net ID • Password • Link to the DELFTULIP • Description of the application

  6. Step 3: Selection Page This page contains the different selection categories according to the students need: • Bikes • House holds • Health and beauty • Sports • Food • Hangout • Events

  7. Step 4: Content Each category includes • Address • Photo of the destination • Directions and distance • Website or Facebook link

  8. Multicultural Experience • Diverse cultural background: Indian, Chinese, Lithuanian • Language : accent • Strength and Weakness • Social life • Food habits • Time
