Quality Assurance Policy • Continuous monitoring of the mobility flows • relies on two pillars • continuous contact between the grantees, the supervisor or contact person and the LOUs • helps to solve most of the academic and practical problems before, during and after the stay abroad • implemented through regular meetings (individual, collective) • progress reports • mandatory for all mobility flows that last for more than one semester (6 months)

Quality Assurance Policy • to be accompanied by a short report from the supervisors or contact persons containing the recommendation for renewal of the scholarship • to be collected by the LOUs and passed on to the PMU • PMU prepares a dossier and forwards it to the QAC • QAC evaluates the reports and decides on the renewal (continuation) of each individual scholarship • grants for one academic year  one interim report (after the first semester) • grants for more than one academic year  one interim report after the first semester, further interim report after every complete academic year

  20. Quality Assurance Policy • final reports • mandatory for all the scholarships • the last monthly subsistence allowance payment will be retained (up to a total amount of 10 % of the scholarship) until the grantee has submitted the final report and returned to the home country
