  1. What is Sleep Apnea? What are Causes? How to Treat this Problem Sleep Apnea is a sleeping disorder in which person periodically stops breathing due to collapsed airways. In this a person doesn't get the proper airflow into lungs during sleep. This results in poor quality of sleep and also results in decreased oxygen levels in the blood. It is very serious problem as person could not get the proper 7 hours sleep and could face many health complication. Affected person will feel restlessness, headaches, memory loss, depression and many other unwanted conditions. Causes The main cause of this problem is enlargement of soft tissues of your mouth or throat. The muscles of throat and mouth are in relaxed during sleep which block the proper air flow during sleep. In some cases enlargement of Tonsils is also cause of this problem. Treatment The most important recommendation in this diesease is change in lifestyle. Affected person has to quit smoking and stop drinking alcohol. Regular exercise is very useful to cure this problem.
