  1. Share a funny story of when you were humbled by someone or some event? (ie. A date gone wrong, bad job interview, food in teeth all day etc) How many people in the Old Testament were named Obadiah?

  2. 1. How would you summarize the message Obadiah delivers to the Edomites for God in verses 1-22. Based on the clues in verse 2, how do you think the Edomites saw themselves? ?

  3. 3. Was there a time in your own life when circumstances caused you to adjust how you viewed yourself?

  4. 4. What was Edom’s fatal flaw? What is it about their circumstances that causes them to feel such pride?
