Finally ends on a D major chord, making a perfect cadence into G major For the second subject

  4. RECAPITULATION This is where the original ideas are restated (played again) like in the exposition. The main difference is that now the music does not move to the dominant. The transition theme now stays in the tonic –because the composer wants us to feel that we are firmly (strongly) in the tonic.
