Mai 2001 Activities: • Homework aid; primary school and high school (students aged 13 – 17) • Internet café (youth aged 13 – 25) • Mathematics tutoring for primary school pupils • Project: “ My future” for youth aged 16 – 22 • Selected groups for boys and girls • Organized trips 3 times pr. year • 3 Employees – 40 volunteers – 2 conscientious objectors (civilian service) • 16.000 visits in 2006 • Budget: NOK: 2.450.000(EUR: 288K). Oslo RC is funding 70 % of the budget

Mortensrud Red Cross Activity Centre • Inaugurated 8.Mai 2003 Activities: • Homework aid; primary school and high school (students aged 13 – 17) • Internet café (youth aged 13 – 25) • Mathematics tutoring for primary school pupils • Girls evening • Organized trips 3 times pr. year • 3 employees - 40 voluntaries - 2 conscientious objectors (civilian service) • 750 members in 2006 • 16.000 visits • Budget; NOK 2.100 000 (EUR 250K). Oslo RC is funding 60 % of the budget.

  3. Café Condio / Majorstuen Red Cross Activity Centre • Inaugurated 6. September 2003 • Oslo Red Cross in partnership with Oslo municipality Activities: • Homework aid; junior high and high school (aged 15 – 17) • Internet café (youth aged 13 – 25). • Mathematics tutoring junior high school students • Girls groups, special evenings • Organized trips 3 times pr. year • 3 Employees – 40 volunteers – 2 conscientious objectors (civilian service) • Appr. 1000 members • 13.000 visits • Budget: NOK 2.495.000,- ( EUR 293K). Oslo RC is funding 33 % of budget.

  4. ORKIS Activity Centre (Oslo Red Cross International Centre) • Inaugurated 10. October 2004 Activities: • Youth tutoring program; high school students (aged 15 – 23) • Internet café (youth aged 15- 22) • Girls evening • Organized trips 3 times pr. year • Women's café for immigrant women (aged18 years and above) • 5.5 employees, app. 200 volunteers, 3 conscientious objectors (civilian service) • 1900 members • 30.000 visits in 2006 • Budget NOK: 3.905.000 ( EUR 495K ). Oslo RC is funding 30 % of budget.

  5. Red Cross Information Telephone on Forced Marriages 2.5 Employees – financed by Ministry of Children and Equality Budget; NOK: 1.506.000 ( EUR 177K ) Home work aid in a Mosque Inaugurated 24. January 2007 Collaboration between Oslo RC and the Mosque Central Jamaat-e-Ahl-eSunnat 1 employee, 25 volunteers. How to avoid conflicts Street negotiations Training courses to prevent violence in the streets 2 Employed, app.10 voluntaries Budget; NOK 1.084.000 Euro: 127 “Commotion” Project for preventing troublemakers to commit crime, and how to live free of drugs and without violence 2 employees – external funding exclusively.
