  2. What is Confirmation? • Conformation is when you are sealed with the Gifts of The Holy Sprit. We are moved from followers of Christ's to leaders in the faith of Christ. • We received Gifts of The Holy Sprit: • wisdom, understanding, council, courage, knowledge, piety, and fear of lord. • This sacrament goes along with the birth and growth stage of Christian life. In this particular stage conformation emphasizes the growth side more. The spiritual stage is Christian Initiation.

  3. How is it Celebrated? • Preparation for Confirmation should aim at leading the Christians toward a more intimate union with Christ and a move lively familiarity with the Holy Spirit, his actions, gifts, and responsibilities of Christian life. • Confirmation is usually celebrated within mass and one must be in a state of Grace while receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation. 5. Signs, Symbols, and Rites • Sign of anointing is what it signifies and what imprints a spiritual seal. • The sing of peace concludes the rite of Confirmation signifying and demonstrating ecclesial communion with the bishop and with all the faithful. • Chrism because Baptism and Confirmation used to be celebrated together, so, the person used to receive a double anointing.
