So below are some of the key facts which one must know before deciding to appear for the JEE and NEET exams: For More Information : https://www.cleariitmedical.com/ JEE Mains Eligibility Criteria Age criteria: -The candidates must be in the age group of 17-25 years as on October 1, 2020. -General candidate must be born on or after October 1, 1995 and SC, ST and PWD category must be born on or after October 1, 1989. Qualification Criteria: -Candidates must have cleared or should be appearing in 12th class or equivalent examination with at least 5 subjects. –For B.E/B.Tech – Physics, Mathematics along with any one of Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology is mandatory. –For B.Arch/B.Planning – Mathematics with at least 50% in aggregate of 5 subjects. Year of Passing: Candidates, who have passed the qualifying exam in 2018, 2019 or will be passing in 2020, are eligible to appear for JEE Main 2020. Number of Attempts: Applicants can appear for JEE Main a maximum of 3 times that too in consecutive years. Attempting both sessions in the same year will be counted as one. For More Information : https://www.cleariitmedical.com/p/iit-jee-main-eligibility- criteria.html NEET Eligibility Criteria: -The student should have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31stst December of that year, before his/her admission to the first year of MBBS/BDS course. -Upper age limit for NEET (UG) is 25 years -Upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC and persons entitled for reservation under the Right of Persons with disabilities act 2016 is 30 years. -Indian Citizens/ Overseas Citizens of India intending to pursue MBBS/ BDS from a foreign Medical/ Dental Institute also need to qualify NEET (UG). Eligibility for seats under the control of States / Deemed Universities / Central Universities / ESIC and AFMC including Delhi University (DU), BHU & AMU / central pool quota:

  2. 1. Indian Nationals, Non Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), Persons with Indian Origin (PIO) and Foreign Nationals are eligible for admission. 1. Foreign nationals may confirm their eligibility from the concerned Medical/Dental College/State. Eligibility for 15% All India Quota seats 1. a) Indian Nationals, Non Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) and Foreign Nationals 2. b) Candidates from State of J & K -Students from State of J & K are not eligible for 15% All India Quota Seats as State of J&K has opted out of All India Scheme since its inception. However, candidates from the State of J & K can appear in NEET (UG) for admission to Private Medical/Dental Colleges or any Private/Deemed University and Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC). NEET Exam Pattern: -The exam is of 720 marks in total. There are 45 questions, with a cumulative of 180 marks in Physics and Chemistry respectively. The Biology and Zoology contain a combined 90 questions with 360 marks in aggregate. -There are +4 marks for every right answer and -1 for every wrong answer. -The exam is conducted in the following languages: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Oriya, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
