  1. What Can Cause Pain in Back of Head and Neck? People can experience pain in any part of their body. Pain can occur due to a variety of reasons. For example, pain could be caused due to external injuries or it can also be a sign of any kind of internal health condition. No matter what the cause of the pain is, having pain could be very inconvenient. If you are suffering from any kind of pain then you would not be able to focus on any work. Some of the common places where people experience pain on a regular basis are pain in back of head and neck of the body. Generally, the back of the head and the neck region can experience pain due to a variety of reasons. But if the pain is unbearable or happens very frequently then it can be a sign of any serious condition.

  2. One of the major problems that can cause pain in back of head and neck is occipital neuralgia. Occipital neuralgia is a medical condition that occurs when the nerves that run from the spinal cord to the scalp of your body are inflamed. Another common reason for the pain could be slipped or herniated discs. Other than this, pain in the back of the head region and the neck region can also occur if you are suffering from any kind of migraine, tension, or low pressure. Sometimes, poor posture can also result in tension which could lead to pain in the back of your head and neck. If you are suffering from any kind of cluster headache then you will also experience sudden pain in the back of your head and neck. Pain caused due to any of these conditions can be intolerable. For this reason, you should go to treat the root cause of the pain and should get rid of the pain as soon as possible.
