Overview • REAL.ed:e-learning for disengaged youth with: • Low literacy/numeracy skills, • Limited social skills • Socially & economically disadvantaged backgrounds. • Combining: • Mentor support • Literacy/ Numeracy skills development • Employability skills development • Supportive team environment • Relevant integrated technology experiences • Vocational tasters • Details: • 18 week Certificate I course (10088NAT) • Prepare participants for work or further training • Address literacy, numeracy, ICT, employability skills and other personal barriers • Goals: • Provides underpinning skills and confidence • Potential to progress to Cert II level courses or • Sustainable relevant workforce options • JSA Partners: • Break Thru People Solutions and JobQuest will partner with Hunter TAFE to identify and support the most suitable clients for this program • Program: • One Semester full timecourse • 4 days a week from 9:30 am till 3 pm • Starting 2nd week in February 2012
