  7. Raman4Clinics Objective To develop a collaborative network of top European experts working towards the progress of the emerging field of Raman-based applications for clinical diagnostics. Working Groups WG1: Therapeutic monitoring of anti-tumoral drugs and antibiotics in body fluids.WG leader:  Prof.ValterSergo WG2: Diagnosis of infectious diseases by detection of microbial pathogens. WG leader: Prof Fiona Lyng WG4: Histopathology of cells and tissue sections and biopsies from cancerous and noncancerous pathologies. BENEFITS OF PARTICIPATION IN COST ACTIONS • Funding for Networking and Dissemination activities • Bottom up approach – any research field • Open to all COST countries • Anyone working in the area can join • Facilitates in depth discussions in a research area with experts in the field • Facilitates collaborations and access to different techniques / research infrastructure • Possible joint publications with other members • Possible to build a consortium for future research funding call
