Benchmarks • Target Coverage: 100% (Institution-wise, No. of children-wise, in terms of No. of meal served) • Desirable stock in hand : 15% (+ or - 5%) • Availability of foodgrains [1.4.09 to 31.12.09]: 85% (+ or – 10%) • Utilisation of foodgrains and cooking cost [1.4.09 to 31.12.09]: 75% (+ or – 10%) • Every month 1/12th of foodgrains is lifted & distributed. • Utilisation of foodgrains & cooking cost is synchronous. • State’s AWP&B is in accordance with M/HRD’s guidelines. • Data in the AWP&B is authentic, reliable & based on the records. Proposal for Construction of Kitchen-cum-Store The state has reported requirement of 2570 kitchen shed in Primary schools and 2870 kitchen sheds in upper primary schools (Total 5440 kitchen sheds). State Government has unspent balance of Rs. 1240.20 lakh for 2067 kitchen shed for upper primary schools. Now actual requirement is Rs. 4384.59 lakh for 3373 kitchen sheds.
