Expanding work in Russia and CIS countries Russian Society consists of: • 19 Branchesin cities: Abakan, Chelyabinsk, Habarovsk, Hakasia, Kazan, Nizhegorodsk, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Petrozavodsk, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Saratov, Stavropol, St-Petersburg, Vladimir, Volgograd, Voronezh, Vladivostok, Yaroslavl • 5DepartmentsBelarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine • 1 Student Chapter (Stavropol) • Only one Department registered as an ISPOR Chapter (Ukraine)

Expanding educational activity • More than 12 schools, seminars and conferences in 2007 • Annual conference "The Health care quality management: standardizationand clinico-economic analyses“ since 1998 • Annual EBM Congress in Khabarovsk since 2002 • Annual (joint with Formulary Committee) school-seminar for decision-makers since 2002

Internet-technologies • Russian-language resource www.rspor.ru • More than 200 visitors a day from 45 countries • Tools for researchers • Tools for decision-makers • At the beginning of 2008 RSPOR mailing list covers more than 4500 subscribers. • Needs for distant learning course in Russian • Needs for database of Russian-language pharmacoeconomics studies

Euro-Asia Alliance of Societies for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research • Established in November 2007 • Members: Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine • Annual conference in Kazakhstan • Sharing knowledge and experience at the Web-site and new journal • In a perspective becomes an ISPOR Consortium

  7. ISPOR Annual European Congress in RUSSIA? • RSPOR makes a proposal to ISPOR to carry on Annual European Congress in Saint-Petersburg in 2011-2013
