  1. National Infertility Awareness Week (NIAW) National Infertility Awareness Week (NIAW) is a time to raise awareness about the challenges of infertility and to provide support to couples who are struggling to conceive. This year’s NIAW is April 23-29, 2023. How do couples facing infertility find encouragement? First, it is important to remember that you are not alone. Infertility affects an estimated 1 in 8 couples in the United States. This means that there are millions of people who understand what it is like to struggle to conceive. There are many resources available to help you, including support groups, online forums, and counseling services. Second, it is important to stay positive. Infertility can be a very difficult and emotional journey, but it is important to remember that there is hope. With the help of medical treatment and support, many couples are able to achieve their dream of having a family. Finally, it is important to celebrate the small victories. Even if you are not yet pregnant, there are many things to be grateful for. For example, you may have a loving partner, a supportive family, or a good job. It is important to focus on the positive things in your life, even during the difficult times.

  2. If you are facing infertility, please know that you are not alone. There are many resources available to help you, and there is hope. Please reach out for support and remember to celebrate the small victories. Here are some additional tips for couples facing infertility during NIAW: Talk to your partner about your feelings. Infertility can be a very isolating experience, so it is important to talk to your partner about how you are feeling.  Join a support group. There are many support groups available for couples facing infertility, as www.resolve.org, www.twelve12ministries.org, and www.bravingit.org. These groups can provide you with a sense of community and support. Seek professional help. If you are struggling to cope with infertility, it may be helpful to seek professional help from a therapist or counselor. Please let us know if you need a referral to a fertility-focused counselor. Don’t give up hope. Infertility can be a long and difficult journey, but it is important to remember that there is hope. With the help of medical treatment and support, many couples are able to achieve their dream of having a family.
